Now, figure that Canon will be bringing out its successor to the now ancient 5D within the next couple of months. Though we don't know what mix of features and sensor resolution the new 5D will offer it will likely be in the 16MP range. This gives Nikon an interesting challenger in this market segment, one which Nikon will be unable to best in the short term with a higher resolution chip than 12MP (though this will obviously come eventually). Instead, I believe that Nikon has decided to meet the new Canon 5D's challenge through offering a better built, higher spec, more full-featured camera with the D700, letting megapixels not be the determining factor in this race.

Brzmi trochę jak takie asekuranckie pocieszanie się, że może jednak Canon się zlituje i nie przywali z grubej rury . I wtedy te 12 Mpx w puszkach Nikona nie okażą się odgrzewanym kotletem zdolnym konkurować jedynie z "przestarzałą" matrycą z 5D.

niby tak, ale znając Canona i zapominając na chwilę o wypowiedzi Corwin'a mógłbym mu przyznać rację. Canon da Mpx i dobry obrazek, więc Nikon dał czadu z cała resztą, nota bene nie mając się czego wstydzić w kwestii matrycy. I Canon tradycyjnie uzna swoja misję za wypełnioną dając to co do tej pory niezawodnie dawał. Bardzo bym chciał aby Reichmann się pocieszał ale przecie on od lat Canonier.

Tyle, ze jak Canon da obrazek, to znow cala reszta zostanie uznana przez marketing za zbedna opcje i pominieta (jak zwykle) Canonowi to bardzo na reke. Jedynki nie beda mialy wewnetrznej konkurencji.

Z drugiej strony warto pamietac, ze teraz nie tylko Nikon jest grozny dla Canona. Moloch Sony tez napewno cos wypusci. Co prawda u nich nieco drogo, ale chcac nie chcac, Canon musi sie zabezpieczyc na kolejne lata aby nie bylo jak obecnie
