Problem dotyczy nie tylko Polski. Przytoczę jeden post z forum Fredmiranda, autor mieszka w USA:

After living in my house for thirty years and accumulating Canon L glass over the past four or five years, my house was broken into Sunday night while my wife and I slept. Among the stolen items were two camera bags filled with my 10D, 20D, battery grips, all my lenses, my 580EX and 550EX flashes and 16GB of compact flash cards. Yes, I am sick to my stomach.
My reason for posting is to ask for the website to list stolen items, although by now, my lovely equipment is gone, traded for either sex, drugs or both.
Now that I have absolutely NO Canon digital DSLR equipment, any recommendations for camera replacement? Another tried and true 20D, an untried new 5D, a 1D MKII, or, forgive me, a Nikon? Currently I am an avid photographer (amateur) who loves digital and was thinking of turning semi-pro after retirement in just over two years. I photograph wildlife on Cape Cod, family weddings (in addition to the Pros) and vacation trips, the latest being a cruise to Alaska.
