Mam nieco zrozumienia dla dystrybutorów! Jest brudny, ale nowa wersja powinna opłacać produktu. Rozumiem, że nie będzie dostępny drogą wymiany, kosztem obecnych użytkowników.

Pixel has not published details of versions they have released, or provided IDs. This has created confusion between buyers, distributors and reviewers. Although there are some hardware changes, the key one is the programming contained in the ROM of the microprocessor, which is not visible.

As a reviewer, and associated with "elv0000", this is how I see the versions.

A "beta" version was available from November 2009 to March 2010. It was not ready for sale. I call that "Beta Test Version 1". For distributors, it may be the first version they received.

Beta Test Version 1 Identification: It was not labelled "Knight".

In April, a working version was issued to distributors. This worked well for a limited number of Canon cameras (7D, 5D II, 50D, 40D, 550D/T2i, 500D/T1i, 450D/XSi, 1000D/XS). I call this Version 1, but for distributors, it may be the second version they had on sale.

In June, another version was issued for testing, but may not have been put on sale as I at first understood. Tests show that there are a number of fixes and improvements, but there is a serious timing problem which Pixel is working on. Pixel claims that compatibility has been added for 1D Mk III, 1D Mk II, 1D Mk II N, 5D, 30D, 400D/XTi, 350D/XT. The timing problem makes it hard to assess this. I call this Beta Test Version 2.

Beta Test Version 2 Identification: Labelled Knight, and after turning on (count 1-2), pressing the power button quickly will scroll through the groups (backwards) - A, E, D, C, B.

I have some sympathy for distributors! It is messy, but the new version should be a worthwhile product. I understand that there will be a replacement path available, at a cost to existing users.
