Re: Best grip for 5d Mark III?: Canon EOS-1D / 5D / 6D Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
Tylko przed zakupem musisz upewnić się czy nie kupujesz czasem wadliwego egzemplarza, chodzi o pewną partię towaru z określonego zakresu numerów seryjnych:
You won't go wrong with either the Pixel Vertax or Vello grips (they're identical, just rebranded).
From first hand experience they work perfectly with the only difference being the mechanical feel shutter button on the grip. Canon's grip is just like the camera's, the typical Canon squishy shutter button. While the one on the Pixel Vertax/Vello grip is more like Sony/Panasonic/Pentax/etc. cameras with a 2 stage "click". Half press to auto focus feels the same, but fully pressing to release the shutter has a a clicky feel.
Never understood the "get a Canon, they just work" comment, the third party ones "just work" too.
Review: Pixel Vertax E-11 Battery Grip for Canon 5D Mark III | Light And Matter
Numer seryjny powinien być wybity na spodzie gripa oraz nadrukowany na naklejce znajdującej się na jednym z boków pudełka:Battery Drain
Though I have not had any problems with batteries discharging while the camera was not in use, some early users of the grip have reported problems. When asked about these âbattery drainâ issues, Pixel Enterprises, Hong Kong told Light & Matter that there was a problem with early production models of this grip. Grips with serial numbers between 309095000001 and 309095004240 suffered from an engineering flaw that caused battery drain. After production had begun, however, it was detected and rectified. Pixel offered free repairs to some of those early customers who had the patience to wait for round-trip shipping to China. In any case, currently available models should not suffer any problems with battery drain, according to Pixel, and this has been my experience.
