Needless to say, the 350D has a better resolution over the 300D. For horizontal lines per picture height, we measured a resolution of 1750 LPH. Vertical and 5° Diagonal resolutions stood at 1700 LPH, and 1000 LPH respectively. These results are actually not far behind the more expensive EOS 20D that offers 8.2 megapixels of resolution. Overall, we were delighted with the performance of this new, second generation sensor.
