Tutaj moje zapytanie i odpowiedź na tej grupie, która dotyczy stricte obiektywu RF 100-400.

Ja: Guys, what is your overall opinion about sharpness with this lens? I'm courious especially in comparison to Tamron and Sigma 100-400. I would like to know someone's opinion about sharpness in comparison to Canon's 70-200 f4.0 as well because I have this lens (without IS) and its really sharp in my opinion.

James: I have both these lens (EF 70-200 f4 L IS) and it breaks down like this;
Up to 200 mm the EF is fast and sharper, with obvious advantages in lower light over the RF at 200 mm.
The RF gives you twice the reach, but compromise is the poorer light performance that affects sharpness/AF.
But on a good day, the RF is better than my EF with a 2x teleconverter, as the EF becomes F8 and AF is affected.

EF and RF are similar sharpness at 200 mm, but the EF performs better in lower light, as it’s F4.
Personally, I’ve also a Tamron G2 150-600 mm, but the RF100-400 is a brilliant all rounder for the money, money well spent!!


Może to komuś pomoże. Ja jeszcze pogdybam do 31 stycznia jest cashback 250zł za ten obiektyw. Swoją drogą wyszedł on już bodajże 2 lata temu na rynek, a używek brak. Jest to zdecydowanie mało popularny obiektyw.
