Hey. Yes I had the lockup and and manual focusing problem with mine, aswell as the af-c just wont lock on to anything, just pulse.
I turned it in for warranty but the retailer sent it back claiming it to be working. And now my last option is to refund it unfortunately cause they won't help me with this...

Mine is focusing right but as I take the picture it sometimes randomly focuses to Infinity or at least a few meters behind the subject
